Mercer Study: U.S. Pension System Ranks Low (October 20, 2010)
While this may come as a surprise to some, a study by Mercer and the Australian Centre for Financial Studies comparing pension systems in 14 countries ranks the US in the 10th spot. Ranking in three categories, the study judged the US low on adequacy, slightly above average on sustainability, and well below average on integrity.
